You’re welcome, Mark. We’re very fortunate to have experienced and talented T-Bucket builders like Tom Booth take the time for an interview that will not only educate and inspire future builders but also serve as a historic record of the way things were back then.
i dont want yo hear a story. i need to see his building pics. show his torsion bars.
Jim, thanks but that kind of comment doesn’t deserve a response. This isn’t an “on demand” service.
Good Job John. Thanks for Podcasting these wonderful T Bucket stories.
Thanks Richard. Actually it’s a real pleasure for me to get to meet and chat with the creative builders who’ve influenced the T-Bucket hobby. I’m going to keep the stories coming. John
These podcasts are really enjoyable. Can’t wait for the next one!
Thanks Dan. I apologize for the delay, but the new one about Chuck Penry’s ’60s T-Bucket is fun and we’ve got something special coming this weekend, too!
I was first introduced to Tom by Don Mabe in 1967. Don was a charter member of the Early Times Car Club. I will always remember Tom cleaning the injection on the kitchen table getting ready for a show. Tom was a great craftsman and along with his brother Bill very active in the Early Times. It was a wonderful time in SOCAL Hot Rodding. We all had great times. I was living with Don Mabe in Seal Beach and he took me around to all the car shows and hot rodders garages. Great memories !!
